DOROT 31-10A

Altitude Control, 3-way, Metal Pilot Valve

DOROT 31-10A, is a 3-way, Diaphragm-actuated, Spring-loaded Pilot Valve, designed to control pressure-operated hydraulic valves. The pilot valve operates as a selector between the common port and two other ports.
Operation principle
The pilot will vent and pressurize the main valve control chamber to open or close, as a factor of the regulated pressure value. The pilot valve will block all ports, thus maintaining the position of the main valve when water levels are lower than the closing level, or higher than the opening level.
This pilot valve model is made of sturdy, high-quality materials with an enlarged diaphragm that enables high sensitivity to pressure variations at the sensor port. Even the slightest rise or fall in water levels will trigger an immediate change in pilot valve positioning. The ratio between high and low water levels is adjustable.

Features & Benefits

3-way, level control pilot valve
  • Provides precise control of water levels in elevated reservoirs, enabling accurate management of water distribution.
Delayed action
  • For reliable operation maintaining required water levels; opens at low water level / closes at high water level.
Adjustable differential between opening /closing levels
  • Allows customized control via different adjustable setting thresholds for opening and closing; optimizing system efficiency.
Pressure-balanced design
  • Ensures level set-points are unaffected by changes in supply pressure; improving stability and performance.
Fully vents the control chamber
  • Minimizes pressure losses by eliminating hydrostatic head in valve chamber, for efficient operation.
High sensitivity
  • Reacts to even the slightest changes in water levels, to ensure quick, accurate valve response.
