DOROT S300L REEL, is a Diaphragm-actuated, Rigid Seal, Electric Surge-anticipating Globe Valve. This automatic, solenoid-controlled surge-anticipating valve is activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve maintains a drip-tight closed position under normal operating conditions, while opening fully when the solenoid is energized. Valve closure is done at a slower pace, preventing secondary surges as the solenoid is de-energized. The valve also opens automatically to relieve pressure in the line as needed.
