The PRM(e2) - 2-stage Pressure-reducing Valve manages varying flow demands, maintaining higher pressure during peak flows, and reducing pressure during low flows to prevent over-pressurization, water hammer, and excessive wear. This valve regulates downstream pressure to one of two adjustable set values, selected via an electric command from a PLC controller to the solenoid valve in its control trim. For added flexibility, the electric command can be overridden manually using a selector valve.
Note: Modulated operation may cause cavitation under certain conditions. Consider using DOROT S300+ 30F/ 100F anti-cavitation valve, or two valves in series.
