OCV 108-2, is a diaphragm-actuated, rigid sealing, pressure sustaining globe valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve maintains a steady, preset pressure in the network, upstream of its location. Should upstream pressure exceed preset values, the valve opens to increase network flow, reducing upstream pressure. Should upstream pressure fall below preset values, the valve closes drip-tight.
