DOROT S100 REEL (3W), is a Weir-type Diaphragm, 3-way Electric Surge-anticipating, Globe Valve. This automatic, solenoid-controlled surge-anticipating valve is activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve maintains a drip-tight closed position under normal operating conditions, while opening fully when the solenoid is energized. The valve closes at a slower pace, preventing secondary surges as the solenoid is de-energized. The valve also opens automatically to relieve excess pressure in the line as needed.
